How to Give Thanks in All Circumstances

Aaron Lee | November 24, 2024 | FCBCW Children’s Worship | Philippians 4:13

Introduction

We give thanks for our food. Are we supposed to thank God when we don’t have food?

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

How can we give thanks to God when we don’t have food — and in all circumstances?

1. The Circumstances

11 I don’t say this out of need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I find myself. 12 I know how to make do with little, and I know how to make do with a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being content—whether well fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need. 13 I am able to do all things through him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)

2. The Secret

3. The Strength
