Writing Children’s Books From Personal History: An Interview with Helen Lee

For SOLA Network, I interviewed Helen Lee, the director of strategic initiatives at InterVarsity Press, and the author of the beautiful children’s book Kaylee Prays for the Children of the World. We talked about the pieces of her life and heritage that have inspired her writing, challenges and growth in praying, and teaching children through song.

In case you missed it, we’re Celebrating AAPI Month at SOLA Network, and some featured resources include my recent interview on Theology of the Internet, Teen Vogue, K-Pop, and Substack with cultural critic and writer Yi Ning Chiu, and one of my very first pitched and published articles: 6 Special Challenges for Asian American Worship Teams.
