Hallelujah: A Biblical Hebrew Primer

Hallelujah: A Biblical Hebrew Primer is a delightful addition to the Baby Believer board book series by Danielle Hitchen and Jessica Blanchard. This beautiful book introduces young children to key Hebrew words from the Bible while helping them understand the timeline of significant biblical events.

One of my favorite words featured is ruach, as it provided a meaningful opportunity to talk to my kids about the Holy Spirit. While they already know God the Father and Jesus the Son, explaining the Holy Spirit has been a challenge. The accompanying dove illustration provided the perfect opportunity to discuss this third person of the Trinity.

Words like hallelujah and chesed are included, along with their written form, pronunciation, and definitions. This book will bring your children closer to God’s Word.

I received a media copy of Hallelujah: A Biblical Hebrew Primer and this is my honest review.
